Diamond E.N.™

This versatile nickel coating with diamond particles gives hard chrome some stiff competition. Diamond E.N. is an electroless process, saving you time and money versus chrome. This is our toughest nickel product yet — plating at 57 RC and reaching 70 RC after post bake. The low coefficient of friction means it can take on your wear and release issues all at once.

  • 57 Rockwell hardness rating or 70 Rockwell hardness rating after 550°F (288°C) heat treatment.
  • Application of up to a 0.0005” deposit.
  • Easily stripped, leaving no damage to the base material.
  • Extremely low coefficient of friction (0.10).
  • Withstands up to 1000°F (677°C).
  • 3-6 Taber wear index (TWI).
